I finally gave in and hope to conquer my tech challenges by starting my blog.
School is out for teachers today so maybe I can spend the summer catching up on the projects I hope to accomplish. This week I'm going to the Southern Christian Writer's Conference in Tuscaloosa, Al. Besides selling my two books, 'Helena:Unwavering Courage' and 'Summer Guest', I feel certain I'll learn a great deal about the craft of writing and marketing.
VBS is next on my list for a week and then the big summer project-rewriting a manuscript about my husband's uncle-Judge Woodrow Melvin. He had quite an interesting life and career in Florida.
July 20, I plan to fly to my homeland(Canada) and visit family and on the return trip, I'll stop in Maine to spend a week loving my twin grandbabies-Andrew and Matthew now age one.
Before I know it, summer will have vanished and I'll be back in the classroom.
S.M.

You sound so organized, something I'm not, you have your summer all planned out. I'm more of a spur-of-the-moment type; non-committal I guess. But, I promise to follow you blog and leave a comment if it's only a "hey."
